Elvis Marques – Avatar in Max Payne 3

Last year I did a Q&A with some of the winners from the casting of the Max Payne 3 from Rockstargames.com Based on the fans from this pick. (http://www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne3/casting). It was pretty cool that the majority responded to our inquiry for a Q&A, and I’ve remained in touch with them. Since most of Rockstar’s Games are focused toward the fans, I feel it only necessary to reach back out to them again for another Q&A.

This year we wanted to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Max Payne 3’s release on May, 15th 2012 – 2013. By doing a where are they now interview about how they feel about Max Payne 3, what changes it may have made in their lives and are they looking forward to GTA V!
So let’s get started. I’ve connected with Elvis just recently, as well more frequently. He’s and I have been in contact at various Rockstar Games Muliplayer Events, and he’s even a part of my crew TBWB. I asked him to join in on this Q&A, but there’s a little bit of a draw back. He had not been able to play the game due to a system issue with his DVD drive. I reached out to help him, and we sorted it out. He’s now playing Max Payne 3 for the first time just within days of this post. I plan to circle back with him later.

1.) How’s the being an avatar in a game effected your personal lives? Have you been recognized all over the place, once in a while. Or just not at all…
A.) Well, it is a good thing. When I told my friends that I was one of the chosen, they said to be very proud of me and to have become my fans. But those are just details. Of course there were some haters on the web saying that I was a idiot or worse.

2.) Would you do it all over again?
A.) Yeah absolutely.

3.) Have you finished playing Max Payne 3, and if so more than once?
A.) No. I didn’t finish, I started to play only now.

4.) Are you still playing Max Payne 3… or has the magic faded in preparation for GTA V?
A.) GTA V seems to be great game, Max Payne 3 is amazing as any other game of the franchise. The magic never ends actually, only become more special.

5.) Will you be all over GTA V like you were for MP3, or even more so for GTA V?
A.) Well I look for news about Grand Theft Auto V just like Max Payne 3, no more or less. Rockstar always surprises me with amazing games.

6.) If you could meet each other, what’s the first possible thing you might say to one another?
A.) Hi, how are you? Did you kill my avatar on the multiplayer?

7.) Any comments you may have in general or noise you want to share with the community?
A.) In my opinion every game of Rockstar is a great success, because they innovate each game even more than the last. They are always looking for a new way of creating fun and allowing the player(s) to be part of that world. Creativity rules the world of games and Rockstar Games has got this talent.
